216: Double Whammy

img_20160803_073233.jpgEmily made hash browns for breakfast and it went very well with longganisa, fried egg, banana slices, and pan de sal. It doesn't quite qualify as an American breakfast but neither is it entirely Filipino. Filipino-American?

img_20160803_190435.jpgDinner was a special treat. Emily made Vietnamese spring rolls. Inside the rolls were lettuce, cilantro, cucumber, vermicelli noodles, ground pork, and shrimp. What was really special was Emily's secret sauce, for which she refuses to divulge her recipe!
