My mentor Mac Tiu held the book launch for an anthology he edited. O Susana! are the martial law memoirs of Davao activists and NGO workers. The book project had been sitting in limbo for a time and Mac finally got all the pieces together. I am very happy for him.
The depressive downward spiral has been arrested. I feel better than I did in the past two days. It's good to have a handle on what's bothering you and sometimes that can only come after talking it over with a sympathetic ear.
Still quite a busy day today. Work at The Other Office in the morning through early afternoon, then off to Ateneo for the book launch, a meeting with my project team, and consultation with my thesis advisees. Time Zone with the nephew and the niece at Abreeza. Then dinner.
