Emily made this lovely ham-cheese-and-egg brioche sandwich for my breakfast this morning. Actually it's ensaymada but she told me to write brioche because it would sound more pretentious. She baked the ensaymada herself yesterday evening. The whole thing was tres bien, but a little heavy afterwards.
Despite my best efforts, I am continuing on my depressive downward spiral. I think a big part of it may be that I have taken on too many different things, and they are all now happening at once. I am working on the optical mark recognition component for a big survey we are running. I am leading a team putting up an open data site. And I am part of a software engineering team for The Other Company. It's hard to concentrate.
