Hi Dominique, I recently backtracked on short stories that I made and was trying to make that are science fiction in Filipino or in a Filipino setting. I agree on some facts you pointed out however it is possible to write good Filipino Science Fiction without the limitations of the facts provided. I think most science fiction stories are universal and timeless and writers do not need to exaggerate that the characters are Filipino or the setting is in the Philippines. I have tried and also think failed but I may have picked the writer's cap again and begin a chapter a new on creating Filipino Science Fiction. May it be bad or good lets try it out. http://scipinoyfi.blogspot.com
