Listening to CNN this morning, I heard this snippet from Ralitsa Vassileva:

"...President Obama called this an unspeakable tragedy. He spoke about it..."

Apparently it wasn't just CNN:

Talking Points Memo: Obama called the shooting "an unspeakable tragedy" and said that "such a senseless and terrible act of violence has no place in a free society."

Politico.comPresident Obama called the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords on Saturday an “unspeakable tragedy,” and he said she was “gravely wounded” in the attack.

All I can say is: my friend, I do not think that word means what you think it means.
