... "to be candid without ostentation or design— to take the good of everybody's character and make it still better, and say nothing of the bad" ...whew!who would not love the lovely elizabeth and her lovelier lines -- i hope Marvel Comics retains the exquisite lines.
Indeed! But think how much cooler it would be if she were blasting lasers at Darcy while saying it!
"Oh, my poor Darcy! How unfortunate!"(spoken with that distinct English accent) - hahahaha
This needs to tie in with the recent "True Story", where the Fantastic Four travel into the realm of fiction and team up with several fictional beings (Pride and Prejudice characters among them) to save the world's imagination from being destroyed.

Heh. Not sure if this is real, though. But even if it is, it has an April publication date, so.... I'll be on the lookout for it, though.
Hi, I am the author who's doing the adaptation of Pride and Prejudice for the Marvel Illustrated series. Yup, it's real. And altho the cover is very cartoonish, the interior art, by Hugo Petrus, is amazing. Lush and true to the period. Just a heads up . . . you can order all five issues at the Marvel site for home delivery at http://subscriptions.marvel.com/combo/Pride_and_Prejudice Nancy Butler
If you live in the Greensboro, NC area or Piedmont Triad area, please stop by ACME Comics (2150 Lawndale Dr.) You may also call or email for availablity (336-574-2263 or email@example.com ).Best of luck Ms. Butler!
