"RP Battles with Dandruff"

This, believe it or not, is the front page to today's issue of Manila Bulletin.
On the whole, I have never had much respect for the Manila Bulletin. It seemed to me that it was only good for classifieds ads and fish wrapper. But even this was a new low.
As it turns out, it was only a promotional wraparound for the real front page. Nevertheless, it was a mighty cheap advertising stunt to pull.

  1. Letter to Manila Bulletin:

Never having been a big fan of Manila Bulletin, I didn't realize until today the extent to which you had sold your souls. You have prostituted yourselves with your faux front page.

Shampoo? You should be ashamed of yourselves.

  2. Hehe you should have heard the editors* at my office today; they were laughing their asses off. And trust me, they were laughing at MB, not with MB!

  3. Haha, the Manila Bulletin sucks. Most of the time it feels like their front page headline could have been written weeks in advance. "Christians celebrate Christmas today", "Arroyo off to China today". I can just imagine tomorrow's headline... "Today is Saturday".

  7. What are you talking about??? I think dandruff is a serious national problem. I mean, if 44% of Filipinos spend most of their time scratching their scalps, we'd be 50% slower (most of the time) in sending text messages to our friends, family, and Game Ka Na Ba! (is that show still on these days?)
