The Thinking Room

I wonder why I usually receive my best ideas at Mass. Is it because I'm not paying attention? Hee, hee.

I'm about to take the plunge into entrepreneurship. For the longest time, I've been thinking of putting up a cybercafe that I would actually want to go to and spend time in. I've juggled the figures in my mind, and though the financial returns will be nothing close to what I was getting at IBM, well, I still think it's worth doing.

Besides, I already have the spin for the place. Plus, some side business as well.

So, stay tuned for my adventures with "The Thinking Room."

  1. I come across the most unexpected ideas in the train, in the bath, in traffic... It's a matter of cultivating creativity so that it strikes you anywhere. Who knows? Maybe we'll even be able to call it up essentially on demand.

I think it's really cool that you're getting into entrepreneurship. Sure, it doesn't pay as much as a job that you have to do yourself, but it's something you can eventually set up to make money for you even if you're not always there. You also create opportunities for other people in the process.

    I think it's a great idea.

  2. A cool cybercafe ;) Why not?

Maybe we could even go there and help you a bit if providence would permit it :D
